The ZO ZEU-4100 is ZO's intermediate 3+1 valve Bb euphonium, designed for advancing students, high school musicians, college performers, and community band players. Its 3+1 valve configuration (three top-action valves with one side-action fourth valve) is the preferred layout used on many professional euphoniums, providing improved ergonomics, better intonation, and an extended lower range.
The ZO ZEU-4100 is the flagship model in ZO's standard brass euphonium lineup before moving into fully professional compensating instruments. Its 3+1 valve system, progressive bore, and professional ergonomics provide a noticeable step up from traditional 3- and 4-top-action models. For players looking for a full, resonant sound, improved low-register performance, and a professional-style playing experience at an affordable price, the ZEU-4100 is an outstanding choice.
Why the 3+1 Design?
The fourth valve is operated by the left hand instead of the right hand.
