The body and neck of the AS3 model is made of solid polycarbonate. With denser properties, the Vibrato AS3 gives a better resonance and a more projected, focused sound while still producing a thick and warm tone. The properties of this specific blend also produce an instrument that is shiner in appearance and quite attractive. A traditional brass saxophone is very sensitive and users find that the sound can be distorted easily, not to mention the frequent maintenance and cleaning required. The Vibrato AS3 requires much less maintenance compared to a brass sax. The instrument is easily cleaned, waterproof. Just rinse off with warm water and air dry. Included is a black poly carbonate mouth piece that fits any standard tenor neck. The silicone pads are no-toxic and soft ensuring a good seal on every tone hole. The pads can be easily replaced when necessary and different colors are available to customize your Vibrato Sax. Rods are made of aircraft grade aluminum, strong but light weight. Neck strap and Cleaning swab are included in the package along with a lightweight zipper canvas backpack style padded gig bag.case.
